KRC Group has a rich history that dates back to 1961, when our founder, Lt. Kashiram Choudhury, began serving Assam’s industrial needs with two Indian Oil petrol pumps. Since then, we have expanded into one of the leading logistics and supply chain companies in the North-East, offering comprehensive solutions in warehousing, handling, and transportation.

An Epic Timeline

    1956

    At the age of 22, our founder set out to break free from generations of agricultural work, establishing a brick factory. However, due to financial constraints and lack of market expertise, the venture had to be shut down.

    1961

    After several setbacks, the goodwill earned in previous endeavours paid off, securing the LDO Dealership from the Indian Oil Company, marking a pivotal moment in our business.

    1963

    We expanded by securing a dealership for an Indian Oil Corporation petrol pump in Bokakhat, Assam.

    1971

    A second petrol pump dealership was awarded in Numaligarh, further strengthening our presence in the fuel industry.

    2006

    After years of persistence and perseverance, we secured a breakthrough as the Carrying and Forwarding (C&F) agent for Servo Lubricants at Guwahati, catering to the North-East region. This marked a new era of growth, leveraging the goodwill we had built over decades.

    2021

    Venture into LPG Servies Business in Nagaon Bottling Plant along with cylinder transportation.

    2024

    Expanded into LPG Cylinder Transportation in other IOCL Plants in Northeast Region.

We began with a 400 KL warehouse, equipped with state-of-the-art storage solutions from Godrej & Boyce and a fleet of ISO-standard heavy vehicles to ensure product safety. In 2014, we expanded to 750 KL, and today, we operate a 24,000 sq.ft. covered warehouse with an additional 50,000 sq. ft.expansion in progress.

Our growth is fueled by trust and a commitment to quality, with the second and third generations driving the business forward. With a turnover exceeding ₹150 Crores, we continue to lead in logistics and warehousing.
